A neighborhood fund,
built by neighbors,
for neighbors.
Friends Future Foundation is a member-owned savings and welfare collective. Every month, each member contributes ৳2,000 into a shared pool that funds emergency support, education, and long-term security for our community.
Apply for membership Read the rulesWe started this foundation because we were tired of watching our neighbors struggle alone.
In Pathanagar, most families live on modest incomes. When a medical emergency hits, or when a child needs books for the new school year, or when a sudden loss leaves a household without a breadwinner — too often, families bear it in silence.
Friends Future Foundation is our answer to that silence. It is not a charity, and it is not a bank. It is a shared fund managed openly by its own members, with published accounts, elected leadership, and rules written down for everyone to see.
Every taka contributed is recorded. Every loan is voted on. Every year, the books are opened to every member. That is our promise, and it is the reason we ask you to trust us with your savings.

Three things this fund is built for
Every rule in our constitution — and every taka in our pool — exists to serve one of these three purposes.
Emergency welfare
Medical bills, funeral costs, disaster relief, and other urgent needs. When a member’s family is in crisis, the fund moves quickly.
Education support
Books, tuition, and exam fees for members’ children. Education is the one investment that compounds across generations.
Long-term savings
Members who complete the five-year term receive back their contributions plus the fund’s annual surplus — a nest egg built month by month.
What you agree to when you join
These are the seven standing rules of the foundation. They are copied directly from our constitution and are read aloud at every annual general meeting.
- Monthly contribution is ৳2,000 per member, paid between the 1st and 10th of each month.
- A one-time joining fee of ৳500 is paid alongside the first contribution.
- Membership is for a minimum of five years. Early exit requires three months’ written notice.
- Each member may register one nominee, who receives the member’s benefits in the event of death or incapacity.
- Loans may be taken only for business or emergency purposes, and only with the approval of the elected committee.
- All decisions are made in general meetings. The committee has three elected members — President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
- Annual financial statements are published to every member. The books are open.
Applications are reviewed by the committee within 14 days.
“A fund is only as strong as the trust of the people who feed it. We publish the accounts because we want that trust earned, not assumed.”From the foundation’s constitution, Article 3
